Autonomous Vehicles: Driving the Future of Mobility
Autonomous vehicles, also known as self-driving cars, are reshaping the landscape of transportation. These vehicles use advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, sensors, LiDAR, cameras, and GPS to navigate roads, detect obstacles, and make real-time driving decisions without human intervention. The goal is to enhance safety, reduce traffic accidents, and improve transportation efficiency.
Autonomous vehicles are classified into levels ranging from Level 0, with no automation, to Level 5, which offers full autonomy. Currently, many vehicles on the road feature partial automation, like lane-keeping, adaptive cruise control, and automated parking. Fully autonomous vehicles are still being tested and are expected to play a key role in the future of mobility.
